Work Of Art: Winds of Change

Fly to You

I was a lone traveler 'tll I stumbled upon you
I turned into a hummingbird so I could get a better view
I saw you bathing naked down there in the sea
A nymph upon a lily pad saying "Come and find me"
It's not like you were hiding, I knew exactly where you sleep
When I wake up from this lucid dream that I am in so deep

I’ll fly to you from a world so far away
I come to taste your nectar and smell your sweet bouquet
I fly to you in the light of the cherry moon
It's a journey of a lifetime and I can't get there too soon

The sun's about to rise, open up your pretty eyes
I can feel you next to me, it’s not just your memory
'cause I stayed with you tonight inside that dreamy light
Where sparks fly all around and feet don't touch the ground

I’ll fly to you from a world so far away
I come to taste your nectar and smell your sweet bouquet
I fly to you in the light of the cherry moon
It's a journey of a lifetime and I can't get there too soon

When I'm feeling this emptiness inside my heart
From being so far away, from being apart from you
What can I do?  I just fly away

The scent of you is still on me, I don’t want to wash my hair
It brings me joy and misery, bravery and fear
Can I ever find true happiness?  Tell me, is that what you bring?
Could you really be my soul mate?  Is there really such a thing?

I’ll fly to you from a world so far away
I come to taste your nectar and smell your sweet bouquet
I fly to you in the light of the cherry moon
It's a journey of a lifetime and I can't get there too soon
